Where to start
Start with a baseline: time spent preparing courses, learner completion and support requests. Agree which outcomes matter to the team running the programme.
Put it into practice
Run one pilot, collect the same measures, and separate one-time migration effort from recurring work. Ask learners what blocked progress. Use the results to decide what to expand. Keep the comparison fair by using the same course objectives and recording changes to the learner group. A shorter course is not evidence that the platform itself improved the process. Document which tasks became easier, which still need an instructor and which support requests repeat. Before scaling, assign owners for content updates, learner support and account removal. Build the next rollout around those responsibilities, then repeat the review after the next course cycle.
